Create More Space in Your Bedroom

Your bedroom is often where you keep most of your belongings that you use on a daily basis. It’s easy for these things like clothes, shoes and accessories to get disorganized because there never seems to be enough space for them. Here are a few tricks to take advantage of the space you already have but probably aren’t utilizing!

Under Your Bed

This space is typically forgotten about or filled with messy miscellaneous items. Try storing all your out of season clothes under there by using thin rolling bins. This way you can keep the items accessible and organized, while also freeing up that much space in your closet.

Hang a Shoe Organizer on the Back of your Closet Door

Not only will your shoes be organized, they will still be inside your closet and they will still all be visible. Now you have the whole bottom of your closet for extra storage!

Opt for a Nightstand with Drawers

You most likely have a nightstand in your bedroom, why not have one with drawers? This is a great place to store all of your smaller things such as a book or a tv remote. This way you won’t misplace them and allow for a less cluttered look.

Hang Hooks on the Back of your Bedroom Door for Heavier Clothing Items

Store all of your heavier things here that will take up too much room in your closet such as jackets and sweatshirts. These items are worn more frequently and will be within reach before you leave the room.

Buy a Storage Bench

Not only can a storage bench create more space for you by storing items out of the way, it can act as a seat in your room. They also come in a variety of shapes, sizes, textures, and materials that make them easy to match with your decor.
