Lunar New Year Celebration
Join the Bedford Free Public Library and the Parents Diversity Council for a celebration of Lunar New Year Saturday, Feb. 28, from 2 to 3:45 p.m. at John Glenn Middle School. The event begins at 2 p.m. in the cafeteria for crafts and activities run by volunteers.
At 3 p.m. there will be performances by the Bedford Chinese Instrumental Ensemble and New England Wushu Martial Arts in the auditorium.
No registration is required.

Book Bedazzling Night

Join us at Book Bedazzling @Líf Books with Slow Craft Co. for a fun and creative craft workshop where you’ll make your book sparkle—no experience required! Design and embellish a book cover using gems and rhinestones in a relaxed, hands-on setting. Bring your own book or select a secondhand one to transform into a unique masterpiece. All materials and instructions are included, making it perfect for both beginners and experienced crafters. It’s also a great activity for teen and parent bonding!

Join us for Troller Strides (Mall Edition) & Coffee, hosted by Jenn Coffman, K’30 Playgroup Leader. We’re excited to keep our walking series going—this time indoors where it’s warm and cozy! On Wednesday, February 25th at 10:00 AM, meet us near the lower level eBar coffee shop outside Nordstrom’s at Burlington Mall. We’ll enjoy a relaxed, stroller-friendly walk around the mall, perfect for connection, conversation, and a little movement without the cold. All caregivers, including parents, grandparents, nannies, and siblings, are welcome to join for coffee, community, and a cozy indoor stroll!

Lunar New Year and Year of the Horse with lantern-decorating at the Walden Pond Visitor Center
Join artist Elena Li for a paper-cutting and lantern-decorating workshop at Walden Pond Visitor Center on Saturday, February 28, from 12pm to 1:30pm. Create your own beautiful paper lantern to take home, inspired by Li’s love of nature and Taoist philosophy. With only 25 spots available, pre-registration is required at walden.programs@mass.gov. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Come enjoy a peaceful, creative afternoon celebrating harmony with nature!

Bedford High School Presents ‘Footloose’
Bedford High School presents “Footloose,” a lively musical based on the 1980s film. Performances are March 11 (4:30 p.m.), 12-13 (7 p.m.), March 14 matinee (1 p.m.) and evening (7 p.m.) in the BHS Auditorium.
Directed by Katrina Faulstich, with over 90 students involved, tickets are $14 for adults and $12 for seniors/students, available starting Feb. 23 and at the door if seats remain.
