Bedford Initial Rental Assistance Program

The Bedford Initial Rental Assistance (IRA) program offers low-income households (60% area median income or less) assistance in paying security deposits and first month’s rent in their new apartments.

The program operates on a first-come, first-served basis as long as funding is available, and it is designed to meet all Federal HOME requirements. 

Apartments must be approved by the Town of Bedford, and rents must not exceed the limits listed in the application and program guidelines.
