A-Haunting We Will Go!

If you’ve driven by our office at 90 Great Road in Bedford this month, you might have figured out that we love Halloween! We’ve rounded up some of our favorite costumes - some more recent than others - and local advice for trick-or-treating destinations & activities. Happy haunting!

Top Trick-or-Treating Spots Nearby

Several of our team members have spent many a Halloween night making our way through local neighborhoods. Here are some of our favorite spots in Bedford and nearby towns:

Bedford

  • Fletcher & Springs Roads

  • Sweeney Ridge

  • Page Hill

  • Crescent/Hartford/South Road (center of town)

  • Battle Flagg & Notre Dame Roads

  • Kendall Court (in Hartwell Farms)

Concord

  • West Concord neighborhoods

Westford

  • Hitchingpost

  • Beaver Brook Estates

  • Russell’s Way

Suzanne & her family have a fun tradition of meeting friends at the office heading out on Fletcher Rd. Favorite scenes from the neighborhood include a family that has the “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” playing outside, and some of the best decorations in town. They always end the night at local firefighter Dave Dillen’s house at 45 Springs Rd - possibly a former funeral home, adding to the spooky aura - to revel in his incredible display. It has even been featured by news stations!

South Shore Holiday Fun

Check out what South Shore Lead Agent Katie Gerstel has on her agenda! If you’re south of Boston this weekend, you may spot her at one of these fun events:

Saturday, 10/30: "Haunted on the Hill Halloween Party" at North Hill Country Club in Duxbury, will feature two live bands, The Waves and Blufish. Katie has friends who play in both! Local Marshfield brewery, Stellwagen, will be providing libations while an area non-profit, Wicked Good Cause (on whose board Katie sits), will raffle off a fun item.

Sunday, 10/31: The Halloween Dog Party in Marshfield will start at the Stellwagen Brewery at 1pm, continue on Enterprise Drive and take Commerce Way up to the new future dog park in town!

…and who (or what) will you be this year?

Some of our team & their family members really embrace their creative side when it comes to costumes - Darcy’s kids don homemade costumes year after year! And Suzanne’s mom made an epic Annie costume for her when she was a child. Others let the kids pick their poison at the Halloween store. Check out some of our favorites throughout the years!
